I recently purchased a Steeda H-pipe for install for a lower grumble than an X, but what muffler can I pair with this to get a LOWWWW sound. I basically want to sound like a moving earthquake lol.. Currently I'm all stock.

Any thoughts?

EDIT: thought I should add that in active exhaust and like to keep it!

The Borla axle backs have a deep tone. If you were looking for a full catback I would say #1 choice would be the AWE Touring.

If you are wanting deep tone the AWE touring cat back is defiantly a good option zero drone and deep tone. IF you are looking for just some axle backs the Borla axle backs have a deeper tone and no drone. I have many option in stock LMK if I can help.

I have the AWE Touring. It's deep, and don't let the "Touring" label fool you. It's loud for a "touring" system, yet almost disappears at cruise. On my 2015, I had the Ford Racing Sport by Borla, and there is no comparison between the two when it comes to the deep tone.

AWE Touring is good but you won’t retain the active exhaust (they’re non-active mufflers). The coyote is naturally raspy so it’s hard to take that away. Borla S Type has a deeper tone to it and no drone and comes in active. H pipe paired with S Type sounds really good

I think this is what I’m going to go with!

Here’s my contribution of low grumble (caused by blown cats), lol. Not a good sound at all to my ears.

Why not just install the Steeda H-Pipe and retain your OEM active mufflers. You might like that combination more than you know.

This is a good suggestion. A pair of electric or capped cutouts between the x-pipe and mufflers would also be a good idea for those times when more sound is desired.

I found that the Nxtstep axle back with stock exhaust was perfect!!! Nice deep low growl at any rpm. No rasp, no high pitch bs, easy to install. And the best part, it's one of the cheaper systems and it's stainless. I get compliments on the sound all the time. Coming from old school fox bodies with flow master and walker dynomax sounds, the Nxtstep was right up my alley

Sorry. I love my Mustangs, but it’s never gonna sound as deep or as mean as for, instance, a 1970 455 Olds. 5.0 Coyotes are great engines, but that’s not their forte.
