Honestly, I didn't know it had noise dampers near the injectors. I'll check and see if it has them. Thanks for the link.That was a major repair IMO. Pulling the valve covers, pulleys and dropping the oil pan to remove the timing cover was a lot of work. The remaining noise sounds like it could be injectors to me.
Do you still have the foam pieces over your fuel rails and the foam block that goes in the intake valley? Those are designed to help mask some of the noise.
