Been noticing recently that when I stop at a traffic light and need to turn left that when I turn left the stiffness of returning to the center is lost and like the steering wheel wants to turn more to the left.

It feels that I lost some control over the turn so I have to compensate more to making my wheel return to center.

I also can feel like a slight vibration in the steering wheel when this happens, its like the sport mode stiffness is gone during this period.

Not sure what this situation is called, but what could it be?

My tire thread is good. I have a 2015 s550 v6

When is the last time you had an alignment?

If the alignment is not too far off I'd start being concerned about the electric steering rack.

I think like 2 years ago / 30000 miles ago
Alignments don't last forever. Its usually the first place to look when the steering is acting odd. Could be a mechanical problem, but you should rule out the basic alignment first.
