Had to drive to Lubbock from Midland today for a Doctor appointment. Made it there and back without any incidents, got 25.8 MPG on the whole trip. Stopped at the mail box to check the mail, got back in and started to pull away from the curb and heard the most god awful scraping grinding sound. I stopped immediately and pulled forward slowly and didn't hear it again. Turned around and stopped at the stop sign then turned right and awful sound again, and again as I pulled into my driveway...WTH??? 250 miles without any problem at all and now all of a sudden this? Only had the car a week, 2017 Mustang GT...Had dinner, let it cool down some, then put it up in the air and rotated the wheels, didn't hear anything, cranked it up, put it in gear, turned the wheels, nothing! Put it back on the ground, backed out of the drive, and as soon as I put it in drive, heard the grinding again. Pulled back in and pulled the left front wheel and found a tiny rock between the rotor and the dust shield...Now how in the hell did that get there just by stopping to get the mail??? Oh well, glad it wasn't anything worse!
