Hi All. I picked up a 2015 V6 Mustang recently. Really enjoying the car so far but there's always room for improvement. First mod was a GT exhaust which looks and sounds much nicer than the V6 version.
Next I want to look at suspension. The base suspension is okay but I'm looking for a mild upgrade without sacrificing ride quality. The roads around me are awful and the base suspension is about as stiff as I'd like, though I'm willing to give up a small amount of comfort for a large improvement in handling. What do you think my best route would be of these options?
-Keep base suspension, just add sway bars eventually ~$0 for now
-Steeda or Ford Performance progressive springs on base shocks/struts ~$250
-Steeda or Ford Performance progressive springs on low mile PP shocks/struts ~$400
-Used low mile PP Shocks and Springs ~$200
Not looking to spend a lot of money or do coilovers. Not looking to drop the car but will okay with up to a 1" drop if it means better handling and better/same comfort I have now. I've never driven in a PP mustang but understand the suspension is stiffer than the base, just not sure by how much.
Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
