Pull it out and see if it leaks first......

If not I'd run it......if so see what a tire pro says??

Possibly boot inside and good to go!!

If it were me I would try plugging it. If it holds keep an eye on it for a little bit to make sure the cords don't separate. I've seen sport bike tires plugged and it will hold through the life of the tire. I've also plugged truck tire that hold heavy loads without an issue.

Just an FYI some tracks will not let you race if they find you have a patched tire. Even if you were to patch it successfully and it held air I would not be willing to do a pull with that tire. The frictional force created would be enough to tear the sidewall. I have unfortunately had this happen on my tires, and its why I now always buy hazard protection on the tires!

I have a cup 2 that ford wouldn't plug nail hole in same spot. I released them of all liability and got them to plug it. Drove 2000 more Kilometers on it but had a new wheel and tire ready to go. Drive it but it's all on you !

Patch the tire, put it on a cheap rim and use it for a spare.

The plug would probably leak when you drive but hold when parked. Just went through this on the wife's car, plugged it myself, no bubbles or leak overnight, when driving lost a couple of pounds. Probably flexs too much on the edge.

Yea I’m actually kinda stuck with it at the moment the tires are back ordered for awhile all over and it wasn’t losing air so I did a soap test and pulled the nail it’s been 3 weeks and still hasn’t lost any psi with the nail out and have driven it quite so kinda debating if I even should replace it
