Firstly, huge thanks to LindseyEOD for helping me find an allocation for GT350R. The dealer agreed to sell the car at 15k ADM. I don't know how much are people paying for the R but I was wondering if you guys could help me decide whether 15k over sticker for the R is a good deal?

Much Thanks.

That's still kinda high but then again it's hard to find them right now.... if you load it up, you're literally at 82K with that 15k markup. Ask yourself are you ready to spend that coin?

I think this car will always be in very short supply and that will make it much more desirable. If you can afford that much, then sure. Congrats that you found one and have your name on it. If you can barely afford that much, then probably not the best idea. It's all about you and what your limits and tolerances are. Just remember the value will dip as you use it just like any new car, but it will hold value extremely well after 5-10 years IMO.

if you want one now then that is probably a "deal". I think if you work hard you can find a 17R at a better price when dealers are informed of their allocations. I personally don't think a 15K ADM is worth it, that is putting the car in another tier of cars. If it is up to you though what is it worth.

I am very surprised that you were able to find an ACTUAL R model allocation for $15K over. Especially this late in the game. I don't think you would get hurt taking this deal!

The salesperson was asking for 20k but I negotiated it down to 15k so I don't think he will go any lower.

I have being dreaming to get this car for far too long so I pulled the trigger literally 5 mins ago and put down a deposit. Me being 22 years old don't have much patience haha.

I ordered avalanche grey with black roof, overhead stripes, electronics package and car cover.

Better hurry up and put a deposit on it before I sell it to the next guy for 20k. lol Would rather it go to a guy who's going to drive than a guy putting it in a warehouse.

I felt the exact same way buzzy. Almost went to the dark side and got a ZR1 but if the Z takes the same depreciation hit that the ZR1 is currently experiencing I think the R will be the better purchase.
