For the B302's from '12-'13 they added HID headlights and Sync.
And the platform was refreshed. LED taillights and center LCD display became standard. So all told, the bump wasn't really seeking out profit for an in-demand car, but more like cost adjustments.

I'm actually hoping they refresh the Mustang and in turn, the GT350 for MY2017. What do you think are the chances of that happening?

Zero. Ford spent too much on development to change things this early. The only changes might be a realignment of options already available, like Recaros in the Tech Package, or a new color that already exists in the rest of the Mustang line, like Grabber Blue.

It's selling well, I don't think there will even be any styling tweaks at all for 2017. 2018 on the other hand....

Near zero IMO. 2017 production is already slated to start immediately after 2016 production ends, so no way that is happening if there has to be inventory/tooling changes. That and its only 2 years into a brand new design, I would expect the refresh in 2018 with the possible elimination of the GT350 all thogether

Yea. I'll be content if Ford works out(hopefully) a lot of the production issues delaying MY2015/16's by the time MY2017 is released. I might have to accelerate my time schedule a tad bit more just to make sure I get one, as I didn't know the model year stops production in June, which makes my other original plan of taking delivery Jan-March 2017 cutting it real close.
