Looking for Advice on Ordering 2017 GT350

Buying out of state is new to me. Did you have to pay Illinois/city taxes on the car, and do you just pay the registration fee to the CA DMV?

Do you have any idea on the remedy process if the car was not correct somehow, would you have been able to go to a local Ford service center and get it fixed? I would lean towards driving the car back if I got it out of state, and just blue painter tape the hell out of it.

Did they add any value to it when they did that? I wouldn't mind a price bump if they added in Sync3, or some other feature.

For the B302's from '12-'13 they added HID headlights and Sync.

Regardless of which state you buy it in, you end up paying full CA sales tax once it's all said and done.

No worries, rest assured ca always gets their money. I paid 6.25 Illinois tax and the 3.25 delta to California. If you buy in a no tax state, you will just pay the full amount to the dmv when you register it. So the only benefit is no Adm if you find an out of state deal, minus the shipping costs.

I got my car through Jim Burke Ford in Bakersfield. Call Joe Taimez and let him know that I refered you. When they sold me my car, they said NO MARK UPS. Indeed they stuck to that and actually gave me mine for $1 under sticker.

I don't know for sure that they are sticking to that, or that they have an available allocation, but it couldn't hurt to call and speak with them. Good Luck!

Let me ask, but yes fully recommend them, they have been great. Just wish they weren't 2000 miles away!
