What's going on guys?

Just picked up my 2016 EBM PP this past weekend and super excited to start modding it.

I'm coming from a 2013 Genesis Coupe 3.8 that I had basic bolt ons and tune. The aftermarket wasn't so great on the Genesis which made it somewhat easy to decide which parts to buy for it, however, I'm learning that with the Mustang there are TONS of options and it's pretty overwhelming.

I've been reading as much as possible and have an idea of what I want so far. I just wanted to see if any of you guys have any recommendations or if you think I should go a different route than these parts...

$700 - Airaid Race Intake and BAMA X4 tuner from American Muscle (http://www.americanmuscle.com/airaid-race-cai-x4tuner-2015eco.html)

$700 - MBRP Cat-Back SS Race Exhaust from American Muscle (http://www.americanmuscle.com/mbrp-race-catback-stainless-eco.html)

OR

$1100 - Solo Performance Turbo-Back Exhaust (http://solo-performance.com/turbo-back-exhaust-kit4-cyl-mustang-ecoboost)

I've got about $2k to play with, so any tips would be appreciated!

Congrats on the new car! There are many great products for our ecoboost it is a great platform to mod! With your cold air intake and tuner, personally I would go a different route. I would go MAP cold air intake and a Cobb Accessport with a tune from Adam ( Tune+ ) he does some really amazing things with these cars. He has great customer services. He will answer any questions you might have. For an exhaust I have the magnaflow competition cat backs and I love the sound. It just depends what sound your looking for. If you want something quiet don't go with this exhaust.

The first thing any eb owner should change is the IC, then the DP, then of course the tune(should be first tbh). Everything else is just more for sound and cool factor.

Go with tune+, unleashed or livernois for tuning not Bama, there have been some people on here that had trouble with them. As far as exhaust and an intake those names you listed are good ones! Any intake is good for the Ecoboost meaning none of them are really better then the other. Exhaust is whichever one produces the sound you like the most. Have fun modding the car!

Also, get an intercooler asap! The stock one sucks

I only heard the Solo TB in real life (several of our club members has it, incl. "opensesame" who put a review on somewhere here). I love its sound, deep rumbling, no drone. I highly recommend it..

The pipes aren't a necessity. I have the mishimoto pipes and intercooler. They look nice but they are more for looks, maybe slightly better airflow and longevity since the stock ones are crappy plastic. Won't really add much power

I'll also add that I would highly recommend livernois for tuning

If you plan on taking the car to the track or drag strip, then IC and Tune+ first. If your DD then I recommend getting the solo turbo back since the stock exhaust is super quiet and damn ugly, also MAP CAI and Tune+ afterwards.

Yeah, it will be my daily, but I'd also like to take it to the drag strip a time or two.

So far my shopping list is:

Intercooler - $550
Access Port - $500
Tune by Adam - $250
MAP Intake - $250
Solo Turbo-Back - $1100

Any ideas on what type of numbers I would see with all of this?

Hoping to get around 350whp, but more is always better :)

If I could go back in time I would skip getting the AM Airaid and Bama X4 combo as my first mod. I would have gone with a FMIC a lot earlier and a different tuner than Bama. I'm really happy with my Levels FMIC and it made a much larger difference than the CAI.

Just ordered the MAP Intercooler, MAP Intake, and Access Port from MAPerformance.

Waiting until tomorrow to order the exhaust since there will supposedly be a 15% sale starting tomorrow for the week of Black Friday.

you are on the right track going with American Muscle
they have everything you need

If I had $2k
I'd start with
1.) COBB acessport
2.) cp-e downpipe (catted or off-road)
3.) Mishimoto FMIC
4.) e-tune from Adam @ Tune+

with those parts you can technically hang with any other stock turbo guy out there
just add sticky tires

That should be around $1800ish if you shop right- cheaper during any black Friday sales-

Should leave you with a couple hundred bucks left over for all the extra gas your gonna spend after install- or the first speeding ticket
