I don't really know anything about gains, at least not any officially measured figure. It is a free flow exhaust (there is an x-pipe inside the Mach-XJ muffler and the rest of the exhaust is effectively a straight pipe), so technically it is as good as it could be in this regard.
Some photos I took during the installation at Solo:

J-pipe and the pivotal mount: The length of the J-pipe could be adjusted by releasing the clamp and moving the capped end in/out - it most likely not needed as the exhaust is already tuned to...
Hi,
I've just posted a new review about the new Solo Performance Mach-XJ (V6) exhaust kit and it's optional bolt-on High Flow Cats.

Hi,
This is with reference to the recently released Solo Performance 2015+ Mustang V6 exhaust system, see also links for the relevant official Solo announcements below:

I would go with the Mach XV or Thunder for a daily driver. The Street Race is way too loud for that purpose IMHO. But it's all subjective of course...
Catbacks won't affect warranty, in fact I have traded-in two Mustangs already with catbacks on.. No problem whatsoever.
The axle back is just a little bit louder than the Mach XV, I would say they are in the same category loudness-wise. About converting it to catback, the only issue I can see is that the axleback is coupled to the 2.5" factory resonator, so some cutting might be required to fit it to the 3" Mach...
Well, the XV initially just referred to the (20)15 Mustang, vs. the other Mach, Thunder and Street Race systems for older Mustangs and Challengers/Camaros... Somehow the XV worn off from the Street Race and the Thunder on the way :-D
We are all so different indeed.. Personally I also found the Thunder a bit too loud for my taste, I prefer the XV. But some people here complained that the Thunder isn't loud enough...
I'd be careful with that. The J-pipes are capped in their end, but if you remove them, hot exhaust gas would be sent back under the car. Not sure if that would damage anything, etc...
Do you have any update on the drone issue, any improvement, etc...? I'm curious if it would go away after 1000 miles break-in or yours is the "one out of 25" which might need adjustment on the J-pipes...
Thanks, Rudy
