Ok so here is my current set up:

Air Aid Intake, FR sport cat back, SCT 4 with Lund 93 oct tune.

I purchased stainless works long tube off road headers that will be installed later this week.

My question is do I need a new tune? I'm hearing both yes I do, and that no I don't.

I would get a new tune. I guess you really would NEED one, but with out it it's kind of a waste of money since you're not using the full potential of the headers

Yes I know their free. The guys at Lund are the ones telling me I don't need it.

You do need it. It's a free revision, and you'll benefit from the LT. So why wouldn't you want to?

Get the revision. Its free and it would forrsure help you get as much power from the LT. Just got to https://support.lundracing.com/hc/en-us and submit a request.

a couple things lund will do with the tunes from the initial file

all cars, set the cars up with rear 02's off, unless otherwise requested to where cat deletes and long tubes can be added with no code issues if you add down the road

auto cars - set the car up to where a converter can be added down the road without requesting a retune.

these are a couple of the very common things guys do, and some don't think about requesting, so lund makes them "fool proof" so to speak.

Was also told a revision wasn't necessary when I added my LTH (already had a Lund tune for my Steeds CAI).

I have an auto and they did have an updates tune for the shifts points when I got my flex fuel tune though.

Lund had insured me that all will be good. They bake that into the initial tune so when you delete the cats your good to go.

Yeah you won't need a new tune if it's Lund because that's already baked in
