Thx, I need to replace mine with some 200-300cpsi because Kookers are damn too loud!
I'm trying to find oval, 3" stainless cats for reasonable price - no luck so far.
Fit a resonator?

I have it in my Remus system - not enough LOL

I even bought some extra 3" mufflers should I decide it's still too loud.

Trust me - long tubes themselves makes this thing like 3 times louder.

I know they effect interior noise hugely.

My experience of cats is they will reduce noise but not by much volume, but different cars respond differently.

My M3 with cats and de-cat is only a minor change in volume but with de-cats it is a lot more raspy.

My last Mustang with de-cats and headers was very loud but the sound was awful, just seemed to be noise. With cats added in the volume drop was marginal but the car had tone and it sounded awesome.

I find for volume, resonators or a axle back change is best solution for less noise.

My plan is to fabricate a new x-pipe with "full ratio". My experimental scavenger type x-pipe-thingy helped a bit but not enough. This time I will go with full connection.

Backup plan:

There's absolutely nothing more you can fit there so if this will not help then nothing else will:

@ Enoch

Hey mate, could you please advise on how I can get those cats?
Thx!

So may welds...mandrel bends are not that expensive. They might have even turned out cheaper as that argon you just wasted for those  :D

No...
Bender won't do 3" pipe.. plus we didn't know exactly what we'd need, so bespoke it is:thumbsup:

Do u want Enochs house to look like this?!

To be fair, Mandrel bending machine or not, they look pretty decent and will do the job :)! Fully custom and all ;)

Well that's it....job done..:headbang::thumbsup::hail:

Started the car with the standard exhaust... very quiet, so swapped to the Borla:first:
Now excuse the language, but it sounds effin fantastic, nice deep burble at tick over, and a bit of popping on the overrun... not to loud on the volume, but to say I'm chuffed would be an understatement...

Been for a short drive, and no unwanted noises or vibes, and my engine checklight went out after a mile... so that's it...I'm calling job done...

Time was getting on and Rich needed to be elsewhere so no epic video session but short video and sound bite of pulling out of the workshop will follow as soon as I can get it uploaded:D
