I can imagine, I shat myself when I started my S197 up with open headers, sounded like a tank was rolling up the street full chat.

Ok guys...just thought I'd give a little update

Rich the fabricator turned up today to collect the car.....it's now on his ramp and not a million miles from being done

Decided to meet the headers up to the standard exhaust as a starting point, see how it sounds and then fit the Borla, and I'll be making a decision from there on how it ends up....:doh:

My options are standard system, Borla, or standard system but with Borla mufflers.....so stand by for a few sound bites tomorrow:hail::clap2:

Funnily enough I finally got round to sending them an email today, specifically about this cat issue.

Your's only requires the fab work as you went for the 200cell cats, correct?

Yes.....if I'd gone with the 100cell, they came welded to pipework that meets up to the standard system or a catback....

But I wanted 200 cell :doh::doh:

And yup..... the headers are ceramic coated..

Had it running open today to get it in the workshop.....a crowd of workers on the little industrial estate gathered:first::eyebulge::eyebulge:

Thx, I need to replace mine with some 200-300cpsi because Kookers are damn too loud!
I'm trying to find oval, 3" stainless cats for reasonable price - no luck so far.
