Just been for a 70 mile run around N Wales:)...

As soon as I put it into sport mode and drove on the paddles across one of my favourite private test tracks:ninja: All my doubts as to whether I was doing the right thing or not evaporated in an instant..

In an attempt to give a little feedback on the mods, I will try and explain the feelings of driving the car..

Driving sedately in auto, it's very much like the standard car, it just gets on with it, and is a perfectly civilised way to get from a to b.
I can listen to the radio, and there is hardly any cabin noise at cruising speeds.

There are no unwanted vibes or rattles or other noises, it really is perfect for me...

Now into sport mode and onto paddle shift:eyebulge: wow, what a difference, noise levels are low until 3500rpm, then it takes on an aggressive powerful sound, not raspy, more gutteral, to say I like it would be an understatement:D.
Keep pressing on and it howls up to the redline, flick the paddle, and it starts all over again...:hail: it really is fun, and quite addictive..

Performance itself is certainly up on what I had before, in fact at 3500rpm the first time I floored it in 3rd, it caught me a bit off guard, it pulled much harder than before:hail: and was a great feeling...

Being completely honest, I was nervous about going to LTH route, due to unwanted cabin noise, vibes etc..... today's drive has shown me I needn't have been....it's taken my car to the next level, and I don't regret a single penny of the investment...:amen:

Total cost was £1850 which was for the ceramic coated headers, the welding and a few tools I needed to buy...

On top of that I needed the Lund tune £166 and the SCT tuner £200ish but I'd have bought these anyway:)

A bit more info regarding the Lund tune.:)

Removed my rear O2 sensor spacers today and no engine light, so seems all is well:thumbsup:

Cooling fans seem to be running all the time, which is uneccesary and annoying:rant:

Not keen on the gearbox changes....seems jerky and harsh...so will be asking for a return to stock set up on the transmission:)

As for the ceramic coating, I can't believe how effective that is..... drove 20 miles, put the car on a ramp, went underneath and was able to grab both the cat and the header with my bare hands..:eyebulge: they were literaly just warm to the touch:headbang::hail:

Cooling fans is just a setting, Lund can return to stock parameters if you ask them.

Gear box same, just ask for stock.
