I keep seeing tutorials online on how to locate a vehicle with FordPass. I don’t see the option in the app though. Was it removed? Or do you need the model with the SYNC touchscreen and GPS for it to work? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's still there I believe
Pass isn't the easiest to navigate sometimes
App should tell you last updated time
Does yours?

I updated the app and still nothing. I followed the tutorials and I see no button to Locate Vehicle.

I didn't mean updating app but updating vehicle... tells you miles to empty, miles on odometer, tire pressure

Did your dealer do the setup for FordPass Connect. The modem needs to be activated for those functions to work. Now I’m not talking about the hotspot, that’s different. Just the door lock/unlock, remote start, etc.

i have a 2019, 401a equipped vehicle and after adding the vehicle to the app. after i open the ford pass app, i click on the "vehicle details" button and am presented with:

clicking on the little map circle, opens up map full screen with location of the vehicle.. i assume it moves along the map as the vehicle moves.. ive never had a need to watch it.. ive always been the one moving the vehicle

This is all I get when I click ‘Vehicle Details’ (updated the app to latest version yesterday). Perhaps they didn’t activate the modem as Bikeman315 suggested? I’m about to leave for work in a bit I’ll see if the remote start works. If the remote start works from the app does that mean the modem is activated?

AHHH, gotcha! That might be the fix. I’ll check it out when I head to work in a few.

Funny thing. I just opened my FordPass app. Notice it hadn't updated since July 2nd (don't driver much these days). As I'm looking right at the screen the start button disappeared. I'm guessing my car went to sleep and until I wake it the remote start will not work.

Fixed! The vehicle needed to be activated from the home mobile screen. Sorry guys, sometimes I don’t think right . Now it’s activated in the app and I see all the info you guys were showing me, including location services. Thank you everyone!
