The more shady activity I see from Valley dealerships, the happier I am I went with the guys over at Chapman Ford. If you're around Phoenix and looking to buy, hit them up. They've been great to me, and I have a pretty early build week for my very (Dec. 15th). Can't recommend them enough.

Originally ordered an Ecoboost 8/16, reordered 10/6 to upgrade to a GT. They move mustangs... Their initial 4 were sold within a day, and I see different ones on the lot when I drive by a few times a week on the way to work.

At the bottom of the ad it says:

Please contact Frenchhhie, your friendly retired Marine at Berge Ford for this amazing vehicle!
Or contact me on my cell at 850-797-1888
Serious inquiries, collectors preferred but not necessary.

It should read, Wealthy morons preferred.

Why criticize someone who is wealthy enough to purchase this limited edition collectors item? If it is only (1) of 1964, do you expect to get one at MSRP? For those fortunate 1%ers, what difference does it make? Money is like toilet paper, it has no intrinsic value. Only when staring at the cardboard tube does it suddenly become valuable. Only the lack of it, much like money, gives it any worth.

Well...there are a few issues with that line of thought.

1: The car is worth exactly MSRP, and there is NO promise it's going to appreciate AT ALL. If it does..it will only be worth maybe $10K more?

2: The minute it gets registered it'll have an instant $40,000 depreciation.

This isn't a 458 Speciale, it is not a Ford GT, it's not anything more than package with different windows, rims, and some chrome trim/interior. The only thing that makes them different are the fact that the auto's get a VERSION of the PP, but not a true PP.

So yeah..the LE's are awesome, but a "collectors edition" they are not.

Call the Limited 50th Anniversary Edition 1-1964 whatever you choose, it still will be collectible. Is it worth more then full MSRP? Not in (my) eyes but like everything else in life, beauty and value lies with the beholder. The marketplace always determines the value of everything and anything. A willing seller agrees to a price with a willing buyer and that ultimately determines a price point and valuation. A second, minute or day later could change everything but like at an Auction, when the hammer hits the (block) thats all that matters, Bingo!

Like the 50th anniversary Corvette in 2003, this Mustang is and always will be worth the exact same as the standard edition 2015 Mustang comparably equipped.
