Hello
my 16 gt350 tech
problem is my HID (xenon) always on, dont matter where i try on light switch position.
0 - park - lowbeam - auto, HID on with DRL and orange park light.
when i pull handbrake the HID goes off and i can use the switch.
0-handbrake just DRL
anyone else having it like this ?
normally i just have it on auto position .

interior lights goes on and off when change position or drive in tunnel.

faulty light switch or coding/programing error?

want to have orange parklight on and 3 stripes DRL in day time. automatic switch to HID when dark or tunnel.
i have forscan diagnosis.
sorry for my grammar, Norway.

Thanks Mats A

If the HID headlights are on with the light knob in "0" position, then that sounds like a problem. On USA Mustangs, the HID headlights are off when the knob is at "0". You have an exported model Mustang, so not sure if they do something different for those Mustangs.

What does the owner's manual say about the lights function?

Do you have daytime running lights enabled under the settings menu in the gauge cluster? On my car, if I leave that on, the headlamps stay illuminated in all modes except when the handbrake is set. I'd bet that is your issue and not something electrical in nature.

Must be something for non-USA vehicles. Even though your Mustang is not an "EU Model", it was exported and maybe Ford has changed how the lights work for the road laws in your country. The lights do not work that way in the cars sold in the USA.

Canadian market models do that permanently where you can't turn it off. Is the cluster in km?
