Interesting...big time savings from doing premium bumper conversion and aftermarket diffuser...and in some instances (like yours and a few customer pics on AM) looks really good...I may reconsider the conversion route...damn it, the confusion sets in again!

i saw satin black on LB and it didn't look that good. gloss black looks pretty though. i say go for it. you can always take them off if you don't like them.

I personally don't think that stripes suit the design of the S550, except of course a GT350 and whatever the GT500 ends up looking like.

The S197 however, begged for stripes.

I have those too. I sprayed mine with silver paint before I put them on, and they're holding up great, even through Canadian winter driving.

Lowered on BMR minimum drop springs, roof and side mirrors wrapped, black 5.0 badges, and DD switchback turn signals installed since last time I took pictures/posted.

100% different than the rest of us with our black accents! The quarter window accent stripes and the chrome window trimming comes together surprisingly well. Does anyone make a chrome cover you can put on the body to mirror piece or would that be too much? And does that door handle cover bother you at all? I think that little uncovered piece (I understand why it's like that) would drive me crazy.

Yeah, I'm a chrome-aholic. Some people say that's what old people like, but I'm 52, so what do I care?

The window trim and decals are my favorite part of the new look, they flow together perfectly IMO.

As for the door handle, I'm not entirely satisfied with that exposed part, but it looks good from a distance. I'm brainstorming ways to make that look better.

52?! So am I, lol. The side-skirts are silver too? And when I said unique, man I meant it...there is no mustang that looks like this...at best maybe a lil like @Omega cuz of the stripes.

Might be a lot more work than you want, but could you get an extra set of door handles, have them chromed, then put those on? I think you have to remove all of the paneling inside to get to it though :0

What are those extra pieces on the front by the upper grille?

Side skirts are covered with stainless from CJPP. They picked up a little surface corrosion over the winter and I still need to finish cleaning them up and try to get the shine back.

The shiny things on top of the bumper are deer whistles. $13 at Canadian Tire. No guarantees that they work, but they can't hurt, and they're shiny.
