But... :frusty::frusty::frusty: its wierd.. in one photo set LB looks killer, in the next just plain old boring. And this is one where LB looks just plain. I dunno.. maybe ist just an outside color and showroom/florescent lightning doesnt do it any favors whatsoever.

I have zero doubts this color will look sharp and stunning in person.... the LB hue looks close to Sapphire Blue on Porsche's and Laguna Blue on C7's. And those look great whether under sunlight or indoors. It's bright enough like a royal blue yet not too dark nor too light.

Thats my thought too (and hope!) but I havent been able to see LB in person yet. Laguna Blue on the C7 would be my top color choice if I were to get a C7 - thats a awesome color!

I wonder if it's the lights giving it that purplish hue??? Am I seeing things?
In person I don't see any purple at all
In person I see NO similarities to the DI blue but these pictures I'm seeing a little...??? Purplish?

Edit: just looked at the pictures on my computer (I first saw them on my phone)

No purple... it's the lighting and the camera. It's a bright blue but not overdone, it's simply rich & sharp and goes well on the GT350. The pic by the wheel is quite accurate.

Joe, I'm glad to see that you have one ordered for next year and got the issues worked out on the other rig.

Thanks for posting the side by side- that's the first that I've seen like that. I posted a couple of photos earlier in the thread of an escape that I went and looked at in LB. I didn't like it as much as I thought I would- and changed by 17 order to Avalanche Grey- but I've got a pretty boring personality.

I just realized why I like the LB better than the DIB
LB looks like the Ford Oval blue.
It just looks more Fordish? Fordy? .
DIB (along with RR) is a little to flashy for my tastes. (Although both are beautiful colours on the 350)

It's a color that (like DIB) can look quite different in different lights. While it doesn't have the purple hues that DIB does, LB, is a color that explodes with color in the sunlight, but looks kind of dull in the shade. I saw a few Fusions in LB last weekend on a sunny day and it was really nice looking in the sun.

I definitely get what others have said about a teal hue when not in darker lighting conditions. My car was in a garage and not well lit so it had a tealish cast from some angles, but where it catches light it is definitely blue (no purple or green). There was a GT in LB out in the lot in full sun and even though it was dirty (just off the carrier) it was a bright blue with a lot of pop from the metallic. I had similar misgivings after ordering and then seeing an Escapes in LB on a cloudy day. But after seeing on the GT350 and GT in person, I'm very happy with it.
