Here's a better shot to show offsets. They are flush with no poke. The rear is the stock wheel width and offset. The front is stock offset with 11 inch width which is the stock width for GT350R.
Forgeline GA1R wheels in Gloss Pearl Gray, 19x11 with GT350 stock offsets (so no spacers required). Includes center caps and set of black Gorilla lug nuts. Ford TPMS sensors installed. Cup2 tires currently mounted are completely worn out - just on to protect wheels. Wheels used for...
Very happy buyer. These are my track wheels. I’ve been running Cup2s on them and the difference in weight over the stock wheels with MPSS is dramatic!
Drove though that rain on my way back from Watkins Glen where it was happily dry all day. Cool in the morning, but low 60’s in the afternoon. Cool air for the engine and brakes and grippy track:clap: Too bad you couldn’t make it. Had 6 GT350s there and I got a new personal best of 2:08 flat...
I’m towing with a diesel Touareg rated for 7700 lbs with no issues. I chose a Lightweight aluminum trailer (1300 lbs) for this reason. I figure I’m around 5500 lbs all in with the spare wheels/tires on the trailer. I haven’t climbed the Rockies, but have no problem with steep hills and a few...
Great minds think alike...
Oil and trans fluid done yesterday. Diff fluid done tonight. Just need to bleed the brakes and ready for next weekend. I also use the dry method you describe with a Motive pressure bleeder. Not only does it eliminate the risk of mess from hose failure it makes the...
Given how awful that friction modifier smells I would think you might be able to tell by smell as much as color. I’ve been using 56 oz (including modifier) based on a previous post and that seems to be spot on without cycling the pump to purge the diff cooler.
I met Kona Bob at Pitt Race in August and then saw him again at Watkins Glen over Labor Day (was there with TDC and petstang). Amazing story and just a great guy. He was thinking his last event on this long trek would be at NJMP Lightning on 9/28 after which he will deliver the car to a...
Correct. No issues with new engine. First one replaced at 3300 miles and now at 11,000. No oil consumption on either one. What you are describing is exactly what mine did. Never made a sound on cold start up, but after shutting off for 20-30 min and restart it would do it for a few seconds. Shut...
I would definitely get it checked out. If like mine, it’s a loud rattle and clearly something is not right. Ran perfectly and no oil consumption on mine either, but have to believe over time there would be damage.
It’s pricey. $13k fully loaded with stone guard, tire rack, recovery winch for loading and tie downs. But it’s light (1300 lbs) and no ramps needed since the platform lowers to the ground via remote control.
I had a similar warm start rattle, but it did not shake the car as you are describing. It sounded like valve clatter, was loud and only on drivers side. Lasted 2 or 3 seconds and then ran perfectly. Dealership replaced the cam phasers and then the timing chain, but could never fully diagnose or...
It depends on the organization. Hooked on Driving requires it and I believe other do as well though maybe not all. From HOD policy:
In all situations, passengers are to be provided and use the same level of restraint system as the driver.
