I'm trying to think of plate ideas for my MT grabber yellow M1. Here are my constraints:

Personalized plates must meet one of the following requirements:
  • A 4 letter minimum with up to 3 numbers (i.e. ABCD123 or 13-ABCE)
  • Mixed letters and numbers (i.e. AB12C or 1A7)
  • A combination of 1 to 7 letters
  • 7 numbers
Which eliminated my favorite option, '767', or the speed of sound. Other options thus far:

HEYW8UP

MACH

HILITER (currently taken)

I was curious if anyone had good suggestions? I would like to stay away from things like, 'MYPONY' or 'MYTOY'; I want something fun and light spirited. I'm getting the car because I love driving, not because I want to brag or have a status symbol.

EDIT: SVN6SVN is available...dunno if anyone would understand it tho

Here is the site I'm using to check https://okcars.tax.ok.gov/_/#18

I love personalized plates. My advice would be to pick something you like and not worry so much if anyone else understands what it means. I like the ā€˜767ā€™ theme and did something similar for my car. I wanted something related to the concept of Mach 1. I thought about going with ā€˜GLENNISā€™ but my wife didnā€™t like it.
my next choice was ā€˜SUPRSNCā€™ or ā€˜SPRSONCā€™ but I just didnā€™t love how they looked. If I could have had one more letter I would have done it. Ended up with this one and Iā€™m happy with itā€¦ā€¦..

Iā€™m sure most people that see it donā€™t even know what Mach 1 is but thatā€™s their problem not mine

hereā€™s the plate on my daily driver. Iā€™ve had lots of people ask me what it means. It seems so obvious to me so Iā€™m not sure why the confusion lol

Here is my first choice out here in Washington State w/"P51M1". I'm a pilot with Delta Air Lines, so it works well I think! Other choices were 21P51M1, SOFS761, or SOS761M, but had to shorten for the aviation tag. (The SOS is 761 mph at Sea Level and a Standard day pressure and temp of 29.92/15C/59F) 767 is on a 68F day.

Sadly I don't, I'm actually transitioning from International flying back to domestic, and we handle mostly West Coast type trips, though we do cross the Mississippi going to Atlanta, New York, Detroit, Florida, etc. I'll be in training next month for the Airbus A220, so if you're ever on a Delta 220 flight, see who the Capt is!
