Hello fellow M1 brethren. I bought a licence front licence plate relocation kit for my HP 2023 M1. This is a kit, which appears to be constructed of decent components. My question is simple. How to open/access the front bumper factory recovery tow hook cover ( it’s on the passenger side of the front bumper without damaging the port cover ). I’m not sure how to open this pre-delineated plastic port cover. I don’t want to break it. I know once opened this plastic cap is retained to the bumper using a small lanyard.
Here is the bumper access port, and the front license plate relocation kit ( I ordered it from EBay ). I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for this kit to arrive, in order to install the front license plate. In the meantime the car has not been driven. It remains in my garage with under 200kms. I know I could place the license plate on the right side of the dash, but I want to start out with the license plate being where I want it. Thanks in advance! Cheers

The one thing missing from this is that if you lightly push in on one side of the cover it will give you a little more space to get your tool in on the other side.

It literally just pops right out. I just installed a tow hook over the weekend it took me all of 3 minutes.

Just keep in mind that the tow hook receiver is left hand (opposite) thread when you screw in the plate holder. Otherwise it would have been a 2 minute job...lol

Sto&go not an option on your car?
When I last checked, for HP cars, it was not.

The shape and height of the HP splitter prevents a Sto&go from being installed.
