I've seen several people refer to this diode lighting. What exactly is it and for what lights on the car ? And yes SVTFreak, they (love bugs) are hard as hell to get off. That is why you let the water do some of the work by soaking them for about 5 minutes first. Also, it helps to keep that front end waxed throughout the 5 weeks they are out on the roads. When I came home from work Friday I had those damn things all over the front to include the windshield, A pillars, leading edge of the roof, mirrors and even on the sides where the car bulges out around the tires. Needless to say it was a nightmare getting them all off. With all the edges the car has, it really makes it tough. Then there is the honeycombed grill where they land and get stuck in those little areas. If that wasn't bad enough, they get in the radiator core too. And guess what, you can't get to the radiator from above to hose them off because it is all enclosed up top. Makes me want to go out and buy a little beater car to drive this time of the year till these bugs are gone. And for those of you not familiar with them, they come twice a year. In the spring and in fall. So if you plan to come down with your car on vacation, plan outside of the 4-5 week periods they are out, unless you want to spend a lot of time getting them off every day.
