LEV Inspection?

So I just got a call from my dealer saying that my GT350 arrived today. But before the car can be released, it needs to have a State Inspector check the emissions of the vehicle as it's under 8k.

Has anyone experienced this before? He's saying in MA because it needs to be low emissions that it's a requirement

All GT350s are 50 state ( including California ) and Canada emissions compliant. Sounds like a money grab.

I was just scouring the forums.

Since the dealer transfered the car from out of state, they're paying for the LEV inspection. I asked them to look at the door jamb for the sticker but they're giving me a hard time about it.
