Biggest thing I regret is getting an automatic.

Also, this car is not living up to what was advertised.. my mpg's are awful (11.8 currently), 0-60 low 6's, went into limp mode a few times just accelerating hard, there's all the carbon build up issues with DI motors, there's the pcv issues, exploding engines etc etc..

Also, I REALLY miss a nice exhaust/engine note.. The MMR CAI helped me with that a bit, but I really enjoy the sound of a V8 or even the 3.7 over this thing.. I was sold on the turbo at first, and maybe if I would of waited 8-12 weeks and gotten a PP manual I might enjoy it more, but I jumped the gun and regret it.
There is something wrong with your car. I have 2500 miles of HARD driving on my trip 2 and still says 16.8 mpgs. Trip 1 I got 29.8 mpgs driving back from a track event over 200 miles. Are you tuned at all? Tune makes a HUGE difference! My best 0-60 is 5.1 with stock tires. I raced a GT with drag radials, intake, exhaust and a tune and we were dead on at 12.7

Every car has It's pros and cons regardless of engine or maker...

But I would definitely either lighten up your foot or take it back the dealership! I average 22.0 with a heavy foot, 22.3 (5,3xx mi) and 22.5 (3,6xx mi) on trip 1 and 2 respectively. When I brought It home from the dealership (120~150 mi) averaged 37~39.

Also get a catch can If you don't have one, It definitely helps and does catch oil! Everyone is going to have the Itch to get the V8, even myself I'm planning on my next car but I'm the guy who tries new things despite being young. :headbonk:

This ecoboost will take a huge residual hit being new to the market for the first few years but the values will normalize as mustangs do, so either just go further down the rabbit hole or find a used one from koons trade even, fly down there and drive it back, If you know what you want and you want It bad you'll go get it.

For relevancy to the thread my best 0 - 60 tuned on stock Internals besides CAI/Exhaust was 5.2.

I get 15 mpg flooring it everywhere so there's definitely a problem if you're getting 10 mpg. Have you checked your charge pipes?

If you're not able to get at least 22-23mpg average in mixed driving there is something wrong with your car or the way u drive. I swear I drive hard and still get 350 miles per tank

Based off those pics, the numbers of hours and distance shows that you idle the car a lot or do a lot of slow, stop and go driving.

Lots of stop and go.. street lights at every damned intersection here.. My commute to work is only like 4-5 miles one way.. in those 4 miles I pass 3 school zones, 1 police station, 2 fire stations, 1 hospital, 2 bridges, 1 rail road crossing.. and not to mention all the shit ton of traffic at rush hour. Thankfully I only hit rush hour on my way home from work.

98% of my driving is all city/surface streets.. the highways go too far out of the way and even they are clogged up 80% of the time all day everyday.. only time they're empty is between 11pm-5am on weekdays.. Lol.

Jesus that's a lot of crap in just a few miles. Luckily I drove 4 miles against traffic.

So funny thing happened today..

I decided to stop being super lazy and disconnected my battery to fix the SYNC issue with bluetooth.. so I did, I got in the car, paired my phone, worked flawlessly.. was listening to ma tunes so I decided to go for a drive.

Well, the Miles to empty counter doubled.. it was at 110ish before I disconnected the battery, when I turned it on it went up to 210miles left on almost half a tank which is not even close to what I've been getting but I figured whatever, counter just got reset, it's not factual.

I drive a bit.. notice the car feels a bit more responsive, so I floor it a few times and it actually shocked me.. I was like "holy shit.." Car felt amazing, it was throwing me back in the seat with authority, I was shocked. So I keep driving around a bit, having fun, flooring it all over the place, raced a V6 camaro on my way home, smoked it easy.. I park my car and I check the fuel thingy.. averaged 19mpg pushing it pretty hard.. :eyebulge:

So I was like: "no wayyyy.." so I went out for another drive and this time monitored the fuel thingy and drove normally.. averaged 23mpg :headbonk:

Before I disconnected the battery, I was averaging 12mpg just normal driving.. to hit 23.. that's.. unfathomable. I've only seen numbers like that on the highway in a steady cruise with little traffic..

I wasn't able to do a 0-60 run, but I have a feeling it's going to be better than it has been.. car feels really strong... I'm.. dare I say it? happy with it?.. no no, let's not go that far.. I'm content. Yes, that's it.

See man now your car is normal lol hope you can finally enjoy it now. Btw the dealer you took it to before is an idiot to not even try that.

I'ma be honest.. I'm not happy with my experiences with that dealer. Even when I bought the car and wrote them a substantial check I still felt rushed, unappreciated and a bit ignored..

When I went to get it serviced, same deal.. felt completely ignored even forgotten.. it does not take 3 friggin hours to do an oil change.. it got to the point that I complained about the service to one of the mechanics (who was in an area I wasn't supposed to be in "employees only") and he actually got my car serviced right away.. not the damn service advisor who at no point even took down my info when he took my keys, left my car parked outside in the visitor area with the windows down (was overcast, started raining later) at no point in the 3 hours did he give any updates, when my car was finally ready I had to wait for him to return from lunch, then he sent me on my way with no documentation, I told him I wanted some paperwork for warranty reasons, scheduled maintenance and all.
