So I have a 21 Mach 1 and I’m looking to waste a little money.
I have no complaints with the stock Brenbo setup but I really want the look of the drilled rotors. The M cars all have them and they look so much better in this department.
I only take the car to the track once or twice a year so mostly street use.
Is there a slotted/drilled rotor I can use that won’t be too aggressive for the street and that won’t cause crazy brake dust or wear out my pads super fast?

I'm in the same situation as you. No complaints with the stock Brembos but I love the slotted/drilled look and also want to get 2-piece rotors for the reduction in unsprung weight. I'm considering the Baer Eradispeed and Steeda 2-piece.

I went back n forth with Steeda n eradispeed. I went with the eradispeed drilled n slotted due to sale prices. Absolutely love em and they look amazing. Still look like brand new. I have a lil OCD so I did ceramic coat the hats before installing. But they have been amazing. Paired with the powerstop z26 pads.

We would not recommend drilled rotors for any reasons one being they are very hard on brake pad life.

Girodisc rotors are slotted so they perform while supporting the brake pad. Plus we have them 15% off this weekend with Coupon Code: LABORDAY23

Thanks for the advice.
Couple questions,
How much lighter are these rotors from my stock ones?
Can I keep my stock pads with these?
What about the rears?

Both front and rear are listed above. They are considerably lighter than OEM. All detailed on our website.
"The Girodisc front rotors are approx 24.1 lbs vs. 33.4 lbs for the stock units. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response."

"The Girodisc rear rotors are approx 15 lbs vs. 18 lbs for the stock units."

Yes they are fully compatible with any brake pad.

Aren’t the drilled rotors also prone to cracking when they get hot (primarily in tracking)?

Yes.

A set of drilled rotors lasted 3 sessions at Daytona on my car. Would not recommend. The holes fill up with brake compound and then serve no purpose but to further stress the holes and aid in causing cracks.

I will be doing either the Girodisc above or the Kenny Brown slotted for my Mach 1 depending on price at the time. Street driven only for me

So the Kenny Brown rotors seem to be much lighter which in my opinion is a big deal.
What’s the big difference between the 2?
Pricing is same

Girodisc is your choice.
OPMUSTANGS is
11lbs lighter each.
Slotted. Beautiful.

Don't go with drilled. They can crack around the holes and wear the pads faster.

Opmustangs.com has a 15% off sale!

Girodisc, controls everything, from the metallurgy in casting the rotor rings to machining the hats. They are directional vaned rings which provide additional cooling while still providing thermal mass. Also, because they control all aspects of manufacturing in Washington State, replacement parts are usually always immediately available. One of the largest building blocks for our business is aligning ourselves with supplier partners based in the US that are able to adapt and respond so 90% order fills are from stock we own.
