Nice, sadly my garage is small, and one car, And although it is better than no garage, It doesn't help when you have more than one vehicle that you'd like to never leave outside.my garage is a working garage. Not just for the mustang but many other things as well.
Concrete anckers and epoxy .Good info. I do have a really good stud finder. I was thinking of trying to find some open real estate on the cinder block portions of my garage walls to hang the LTHs, as I would like to spare the one Sheetrock wall to mount my signs and other lightweight art with drywall anchors.
A 1 to 1 scale poster to mount the header to would be really cool!If Its not covered with shelving I stick up photos of past glories and any other car posters I have gathered over the years. I can’t think of any way you can mount headers that won’t take up a lot of room though.
If you took a photo of a crate engine with no pipes on and then blew it up to a 1 to 1 scale poster, you could then mount the headers to look like they are fitted to the motor and coming out of the photo.
When I ran out of room in the office I began hanging the 2004s in the garage, until that wall filled up in 2009. I think there are at least 600 there.Wow! There must be at least 500 or more Hot Wheels hanging there. What’s the oldest year and model that you have up there? My son used to collect them from about age 3, until his early teens. We currently have a box full of a couple hundred unopened HWs of his In our garage LOL! I’d sure love for him to come and collect them some day soon. Haha!
Thanks and HaHa. Been collecting since about 1999 but no fights although some collectors are a-holes. Losing Kmart and TRU took some variety out of the mix. I have a few cop rods from KBT, got one just recently as part of a trade. I guess the original vw drag bus is the most valuable one from the 90s, but I still have some redlines from when I was a kid and my classic cord might be worth 100s...Love your hot wheels wall paper !! I have questions ,how long have you been collecting ,how many fights did you get into at Wal-Mart over treasure hunts. how bad did it hurt your collection obsession when toys r and Kmart closed up . Did you ever get the chance to get the KB toy store cop rods?. and from years 95 to now what the most valuable one? The mustang blocking my view is pretty awesome by the way.
