"Less Tape Stripe"

I ordered my vehicle without a stripe, today I noticed this on the exterior description when tracking my order:

does that just mean no stripe? I would have thought that it would just be blank/not show anything if a stripe wasn't ordered.

Should I contact my dealer? My order receipt thing does not show a stripe either.

Its on mine too. I wouldn't worry about it. I think its a standard thing unless you ask for a stripe package, which arent available yet

In this instance, the word "less" means "minus" as in "minus tape stripe" or to be without stripe tape. So it's just confirming that you did not order tape stripes.

How about less 50 caliber machine gun? It isn't optioned with one of those. ;)

I think the point is why even mention it in the first place. Is this a hint there WILL be a tape stripe option or just another one of the myriad glitches in the Build and Price and tracking sites?

Gotcha, and I'm not a fan of it either. I understand that they need to distinguish models from each other visually, though.
