Ah, I misread that. So it was included in the full-retail price. There is no free lunch...

Except it was, because it was part of the price and cannot be purchased without it. Likely because how like in North America, to be competitive, the Korean luxury brand includes it for 5 years with concierge service and sells for cheaper than the German luxury brands, thus, in Korea, the German luxury brands throw it in to be competitive on the Korean home turf.

Just like with your Audi A6 back in Korea, you have to do the maintenance, and you have to pay for it.

Not familiar with lease terms especially for Ford, but does it say specifically in the contract that you have to follow the maintenance schedule and show proof of it being done, lest you incur certain penalties at lease end?

If you do you own oil changes just keep the receipts for the oil and filter just in case. For the first 3yrs/36k miles doubt there is much else under maintenance, just check the owner's manual, don't need to do anything extra on a lease if you don't plan on keeping it.

He paid for it. He may not have known or understood it, but he paid for it.
