Big thanks to Harry (PP0001) for getting this beauty into my garage. Color is amazing in person...hard to capture in pics. The R is a huge difference compared to my old 2016 TP GT350. Night and day. Car was just ceramic coated and wrapped in Xpel….and yes it will be a daily ;)

Your R came out terrific and if you get more pictures would like to see them and as you get your car broken in you will even enjoy it that much more.

On another note if I win the lottery in the very near future I am coming to see you and ordering a 2019 600LT.

What an outstanding looking automobile and the performance will be something else with ~600 HP and coming in at ~2750#.

Looking forward to see all of the various performance stats for the 600LT.

Sure would like to see and drive one of those bad boys!!

Harry my phone has been ringing all day over that 600LT unfortunately it will be limited to 500 units and possibly 2-3 allocated per dealer. The R is driving great but only has 243 miles on the ODO...needs to be broken in.

Understood and even if I had the means for a 600LT the odds of someone like myself getting one of these automobiles would be very remote.

I am sure that you will have fun allocating 2 or 3 of these 600LT's to some very lucky people.

Let me know what you think once your R is broken in and you get to put it through it's paces and hopefully in a controlled environment.

It is so very easy to short shift this FPC engine as we try to navigate our way around a track especially a tight track and possibly being unfamiliar with the course set up.

When I was at Sebring in the Fall of 2015 I was constantly short shifting these cars and had to make a very concerted effort to take the RPM's up to a higher level. Being old school we did a lot of shifting back in the day by sound and feel but that does not work with this engine at least not for me.

Welcome to the R DD club!

And 1 year into it, I can tell you the xpel and ceramic were the best $ I've spent on the car. You'll be glad you did.

Congrats, and I love the DD approach! My daughter is 5 and keeps asking when she’ll get to ride in “black car”, highlighting how she loves how loud it is when I start it up...that’s my girl!! Not sure if I should go rear seat or wait a couple more years and get her up front...heartbreaking as a father when your child wants to willingly engage in your hobbies, and I cannot treat her in the moment...feels like rear seat time.

Enjoy your beautiful R in good health...it’s stunning!

Thank you guys.....just finally washed it today after a long work week and giving the ceramic coat time to cure. Had the Xpel coated as well. That color just makes the car look so much meaner. It’s hard to photograph and looks different depending on time of day/sun/clouds. Anyone who wants a McLaren lmk :)
