There was a post on this site a few weeks ago about a WW LE #666/1964 that was delivered to a West Coast dealership and the customer refused it because of the number 666. Can anyone direct me back to that post or the dealer name of this car? Thanks in advance.

IIRC they were asking $10,000 dollars over MSRP.

Whoever does eventually buy it should name it "Christene". You'd think Ford would have omitted that one.

I don't see why. The number has no meaning to most people. I mean, I'm Catholic and I'd think it would be pretty cool to have; the average Muslim or Hindu or atheist or Buddhist or Taoist customer wouldn't even know what the number signifies.

Somebody actually cared enough about that number to back out of the deal? Can't believe how many people out there get hung up on superstitious nonsense.

I agree. Im no scholar but i don't think the bible even specifically says that is the mark of the devil.

Besides, the cars number is not 666. Its 1FA6P8RFXF5500666 (the x could be anything 1-9, 0 or x). And i guarantee it was not the 666th one built.

I can't believe there aren't musicians from LA metal bands climbing over each other to buy it. ;)

Have you seen what a musician makes on average? Especially one who plays metal. For sure the 10K markup would have to go away.

Don't ask me how I know.
