Launching in 2nd Gear

Have any of you launched your boosted 6spd Manual cars in 2nd gear? I have a 17 Roush Phase 2 6spd Manual with 3:55 gears and was thinking of trying launching in 2nd gear at 3500-4000rpm since 1st gear is useles. Thanks guys!

If you have a sticky tire and dump the clutch in 2nd gear bad things will happen .

this sounds bad if you have excessive spinning in 1st gear you cant control id just recommend short shifting first before launching in 2nd

Just dont launch hard on first or second. Do you still have wheel hop? suspension upgrades maybe?

I would DEFINITELY get a stickier tire before trying to launch in 2nd. That tire is super hard.
