Are any of the manual guys actually using the launch control? Ik on factory tires it's useless, but how about on radials or some bias slicks? How well does the system work then? Or is it basically something we will never use? Lol

For me factory launch control is useless. There is lag once you launch. I was 2-3 tenths faster without it when I was stock. It is way too smooth!

Ik on factory it does suck bad! Just didn't know once you got a tune to get rid of the clutch protection stuff and has some true sticky tires if it was different

May not be the fastest way, but it is fun! I'm still getting used to the car though.

Honestly I never try it with my tune. I launch at more than 4500rpm anyway and the factory launch control cannot go higher.

Any time I've used launch control in the past it's always been worse than anything I could do alone. I think it's more for impressing people that don't know any better out on the street.

It bogs, I installed the MSD 2-Step. Feels much better.

Is your car an auto, also what part number msd did you use and where did you get it?

For guys just learning to drag race launch control would help, experienced guys probably wont use it and when on tires it could benefit but depends on what tires ur running.I have used it before and got 1.9.60 on street tires, but track was prepped well, used it and also.smoked the tires through the whole 60ft.To many variables.
