Alright guys I feel like a serious idiot but for the life of me I can't figure out my launch control. I've watch some videos and it still won't hold my rpm. Can anyone tell me what I'm possibly doing wrong? I'm starting with the car in neutral. Turn on the launch control, push in the clutch lever, push the brake down all the way, then press on the throttle and doesn't hold the rpm at 3300 or what ever I have it set at. Do apologize if this topic has already been covered, I couldn't find the search bar while on my phone

Do you have the "LC" icon? And are you putting the pedal straight to the floor?

That's what I did wrong the first time.

Come to a stop, clutch all the way down, gas all the way down. Revs hold. Dump clutch.

I do have the LC icon. So I don't have to push the brake peddle? Seen a video saying I had too. So let's see if I got this right. With the launch control on and the LC icon showing. I push the clutch in, put it in first and emediatly hit the gas and it should hold?

As long as you are stopped, with the clutch in/in first, just mat the throttle and launch control will hold your set rpm.

You have to mat the throttle though, all the way down. If you ease it down the launch control will not work.

I had this trouble too. The trick is that you cant gently press the gas down. once you are in first gear and stopped if u slam the gas down it will hold the rpm. u cant baby the gas, you really have to pin it.

It's only available on the manual cars, if u have an automatic it's not there... I have a base model with the PP and I have it

In my opinion, on my base GT and those rediculious 235 tires...launch control is useless. 3k launches do nothing but spin & spinning isn't winning. 2300-2500 launches, but of bog, but it hooks better. With some wider tires...3k should be good.

I am actually quite impressed with the launch control on the 15's. It worked really good with the stock PP 275's on a nice day, and works even better if you go wider. ITs not going to magically give you traction on a freezing day, but when conditions are good it can really help.
