launch control activating while already rolling?

did a roll race this morning was in 3rd gear and punched it and my car acted like launch control was activating, any one ever have this happen just wondering if it was a fluke or pointing at something possibly being wrong with car.

it dropped down to 3k where i have launch control set to and hung there just like it should but my clutch was all the way out so shouldnt have activated at all

Wow that's crazy. I have never heard of that happening. I wonder if the tune is doing something funky. If you can recreate it, try to get on a log and send it your tuner.

yea i turned off lc after that happened and havent messed with it since, but yea never had it happen any time before or heard it happen to anyone else i know
