You might be able to see IAT2 if you start the car in engineering mode... I'll check next time I drive it.
How do you start the car in engineering mode? I haven't heard that since my 11GT. I've wondered if the 550 had the same mode.

Of course... and I've said the same thing over and over.

Some sound like they need to justify their mods at every turn...

Don't get a IC and your car is will catch fire and explode all over the highway. Right....

I've heard it all from these "experts". That is why I mostly don't respond to their **** posts about ICs.

Any dealer updates on this ford tune install??? That is the real question.

What tuner, or company is saying if you don't get an fmic your car will explode?

I think that is a dramatization. I put the stock intercooler back on once for warranty work. It was funny. So is the fact that we're here discussing rewriting the ECU but some of us are trying to 'justify' an intercooler. Do you need it? Do you need a tune? Proofs all there, just some friendly advice.

Not a crazy adjustment tbh. Still wondering how they made up the 100 HP at 6000 RPM. Really want to see this tune on dyno graph.

LOL, that's a big difference but very believable. Both of those would be completely expected with an aftermarket tune. We've seen just about every tuner with significant low end torque improvement and 25hp is what any canned tune would get.

The real question is what does the rest of the curve look like. Some of their statements before made it actually sound respectable, we'll have to see.

Based on the update from Ford Performance this tune seems in line with the Cobb OTS 93 tune.

So my dealership contacted me back. They might be willing to match the lower prices being offered around and also the they will charge me 200 for the install.

I am curious to see how with this tune an Ecoboost does vs a unmodded V8

I'd guess that there is a difference between 91 and 93 power ratings, too. 91 is what they require but maybe 93 adds a bit more.
if this is the case you can probably bet they'd use the 93 numbers and then put an asterisk referencing some fine print.

200 sounds reasonable.
