A dealer here in Washington a couple years ago had a gt350r that was on the showroom with an adm of $200k if I remember correctly. Talking to a salesman he said the dealer owner ordered it and was keeping it for himself but left it on the floor to bring people in and figured if someone wanted to give him that much he would let it go.There are dealers who purposely mark them up like that because they won’t sell. It’s to keep the car at the dealer to bring in people to look.
I can tell you from experience, it wasn’t Kirkland FordA dealer here in Washington a couple years ago had a gt350r that was on the showroom with an adm of $200k if I remember correctly. Yes. How much did for your Hyundai? Did you get a really really good deal? Good for you!You guys are paying $60k for a Mach 1?
Lol it was marysville ford (now Kendall ford). Although I’ve seen some pretty high adm’s at Kirkland as well!I can tell you from experience, it wasn’t Kirkland Ford
Yep. And still getting a half-chub every time I get inside and hit the start buttonYou guys are paying $60k for a Mach 1?
I get a full chub every time I drive my M5 that cost less than half that amount. That just seems like a lot of money. That's GT350 money.Yep. And still getting a half-chub every time I get inside and hit the start button
agreed…but once you buy 3 or 7 cars from them, they will waive any and all ADMsLol it was marysville ford (now Kendall ford). Although I’ve seen some pretty high adm’s at Kirkland as well!
whoa Whoa WHOA…you can buy a new M5 for 30k?!?I get a full chub every time I drive my M5 that cost less than half that amount. That just seems like a lot of money. That's GT350 money.
And I would take the 2013 GT500 over the Mach 1 for $60k. True story.whoa Whoa WHOA…you can buy a new M5 for 30k?!?
…cause a 2013 (old) GT500 is right in the 30k pricetag
but that moves the goalposts…you said a 2013 M5 was sooooooo much better than a 2021 M1.And I would take the 2013 GT500 over the Mach 1 for $60k. True story.
Of course. It is better. With that said, I still can't believe people are paying $60k for a nearly standard Mustang. I can see paying more for a GT350 or GT500, but the Mach 1 has the same 480 hp my 2019 GT had with the calibration kit.but that moves the goalposts…you said a 2013 M5 was sooooooo much better than a 2021 M1.
….still feel the same, or no?!?
sorry, not buyin it…Of course. It is better. With that said, I still can't believe people are paying $60k for a nearly standard Mustang. I can see paying more for a GT350 or GT500, but the Mach 1 has the same 480 hp my 2019 GT had with the calibration kit.
Yes, my 2013 M5 that I paid $27k for is a better car than any Mustang I have owned, and I have owned five Mustangs. With over 600 hp and so much more refined, it's just a different animal. I guess to each his own.
