There are dealers who purposely mark them up like that because they won’t sell. It’s to keep the car at the dealer to bring in people to look.

A dealer here in Washington a couple years ago had a gt350r that was on the showroom with an adm of $200k if I remember correctly. Talking to a salesman he said the dealer owner ordered it and was keeping it for himself but left it on the floor to bring people in and figured if someone wanted to give him that much he would let it go.

I can tell you from experience, it wasn’t Kirkland Ford

Lol it was marysville ford (now Kendall ford). Although I’ve seen some pretty high adm’s at Kirkland as well!

I get a full chub every time I drive my M5 that cost less than half that amount. That just seems like a lot of money. That's GT350 money.

agreed…but once you buy 3 or 7 cars from them, they will waive any and all ADMs

Of course. It is better. With that said, I still can't believe people are paying $60k for a nearly standard Mustang. I can see paying more for a GT350 or GT500, but the Mach 1 has the same 480 hp my 2019 GT had with the calibration kit.

Yes, my 2013 M5 that I paid $27k for is a better car than any Mustang I have owned, and I have owned five Mustangs. With over 600 hp and so much more refined, it's just a different animal. I guess to each his own.

60k for an M1 is irrelevant when some are paying 90k for a loaded super duty diesel pickup and/or MORE for a new GT500…have you seen the price of a new M5 @ 110k+?!?

a 2013 M5 comes with 560 hp
a 2013 GT500 has 650hp

…if you are over 600, you have mods. Add the same mods to the 500 and it’s game over for the M5.

EDIT…THE 2013 Gt500 retailed for 55k, so how is the M1 an issue 9 years later?!?
