WOW that is awesome! I am waiting on mine and I am already thinking of boost lol.

please give us more info. How much power you putting down? and did you have to do any supporting mods other than rear axles? Boost a pump?
The following info is for the Whipple I put on my 2019 Bullitt:

The driver's side axle shaft which was known to break was upgraded in 2018 on the manual transmission cars. No problems there.

On Whipple's 91 tune, full stage 1 kit the car put down 675 at 7,800 RPM SAE with 93 octane in the tank.

Mileage driving nice was almost as good as stock.

Drivability actually better than stock.

No need for a BAP

I took the car to the dragstrip before and after the Whipple. When I took it with the Whipple, I put MT ET Street R bias ply tires on the rear. The grip was phenomenal. It pulled the tires off the ground, but the weak area is launching. Either burnout or bog. Now, this is the Bullitt, mind you with the MT82D4 crappy gear ratio transmission where 4th is 1:1.

Every time I shifted from 2nd to 3rd at 100MPH+, the clutch would slip. It was maddening. I shift very fast and for an old man have very good reaction times but the 2-3 engagement just could not handle the toque as when I let off the clutch it shifted soft and the RPMs went up with the acceleration not matching. Kinda like the old auto trans that would start slipping after about 50K miles or so. I just couldn't get good times. Only turned mid 11s at 122 or so. That slipping cost a me serious ET.

On an auto no question that the Whipple stage 1 will do mid 10s.

The 3160 was used on earlier GT500's with no issues. I had a 2008, and I believe same transmission used for '13-'14 models as well.
S197 GT500s had the TR-6060 trans, totally different animal.

I believe the earlier GT500’s used the TR6060 which has a much higher torque capacity.

That said, I saw someone mentioned the torque capacity listed in the spec is based on a 3000kg vehicle. If that’s true, I wish there was a torque capacity rating for various weights.

Edit: ah just saw someone before me mentioned the TR6060. Sorry

You are right, thanks for the correction. Sold it years ago and I have forgotten what it had.:blush:

Thank you also for the correction. You, Strokers Wild and others keep "correct" information flowing. I didn't bother to check first, thought I was remembering correctly. :frown::facepalm:

The article says the car has 20” Herrod wheels but they look like Mach 1 HP wheels. Do they have a 20” replica?
Yes the wheels are a replica as the 19" originals have too much poke and are not deemed roadworthy in Australia. They are factory match colour as Herrod are a Ford Performance dealer and have access to the paint codes and have made a fully forged 20" replica

Mustang Motorsport in Melbourne also do a replica in 20" x 11" and 20" x 10" so us Aussies get 2 choices.

Will they sell to the US? Any Aussie Mach 1 guys need any US parts you can’t get over there and want to trade for a set of the replicas?!!

I don't know what suppliers do with exports, best you contact Herrod or MM directly, being fully forged they are expensive compared with the cast wheels available aftermarket.
