Appears that most of the settlement covers things they had already planned to do so that’s good. It’s stupid that it even came to that though. The track was there long before any of the houses were. Don’t want to hear track noise or deal with visitors for events? Don’t live by the track!

O’Hare International Airport and the city get sued all the time for changes in flight patterns that cause “excessive noise”. Well no shit, 737’s taking off are loud. Who woulda thunk it. And the residents that sue lose every time.
