If plugging in simple cable is a pain, I am not sure how do you go through your life using your phone and having to charge it on a regular basis (since this is exactly the same "pain"). I do not need screens, but if I can have Waze on rather than on tiny phone screen, why wouldn't I ? Beside, what you wrote makes literally zero sense. If car is for driving pleasure (which I agree with), you shouldn't need a bluetooth or a phone in it and therefore cup holder (which this thread is about - not sure if you remember)... So which one is it ?I can tell who.... people with real sport and muscle cars, that have no screens, no navigation, and are built for the sole purpose of driving pleasure, not entertaining.
the base R has no screen, but a black big plastic piece. I have no navigation on mine, and I don't miss it, phone is better. And connecting the phone to the screen is still a pain, I have tested it on many Mustang rentals that I had...
All you need is bluetooth, that's it. If you want to play with screens and listen music and news and stuff, buy a new Audi Qx series, they are great tonka trucks people movers with google maps integrated and anything you can think of (ugly things though)![]()
Which real sport car doesn't have a screen ? 911 ? Ferrari ? Lambo ? And which modern muscle car (except that base R) doesn't have it ? Go ahead and make a list
