Just got my ‘22 Mach 1 back after installing 1 7/8” Kooks long tube headers with green cats. I have a Steeda X-pipe and stock exhaust beyond to the active mufflers. I was worried about being too loud in quiet mode but it absolutely is not. Even cold starts are reasonable. I believe the green cats provide enough sound damping to keep the total volume in check. The volume in all other modes is definitely louder but I only use those modes on the track anyway. Driving around town in quiet mode is perfect. And my neighbors don’t notice any added volume. I’m adding a Wengerd 93 tune later this week.

I think this is a mod that many people consider but are afraid because of the volume and cost. Good to hear your experience.

I think you are doing it wrong 😁 Track exhaust mode all the time, works great for me, no headers needed.
