I don't get the big secret. If the numbers are that good they should just spill it. I really need to get away from work and get mine on. The excitement is killing me.

What's not to get? He's a man of his word. Kooks is a business and I'm sure they use opportunities like this for marketing. Understandable.

So, are they doing the work for free?

I don't know and I don't think it's anyone's business. There's obviously a relationship and Joe is nice enough to share what he can, when he can. Exciting that people are modding these so early!

No offense, but if this is a business, as you put it then why state they there will be some great news coming and then drag it on? Not a very good way to run a "business", IMO. Just stay quiet and then announce.

To be fair, Kooks has kept it quiet. The people on the Mustang forums are pretty much the only ones that know, and that's because a member here is getting it done. I don't feel that they're doing anything wrong.

As Nataphen said, it isn't Kooks who's tell us that, it's the member.

..and this is how marketing works. The company is going to get all of their ducks in a row before they say anything - at least, anyt good company would do that.

If they announced the headers and then told you that it would be a month or so before the ironed some things out, you might be impatient then because they should have the product ready when they announce it, right? :)

Kooks is very successful. I am sure they don't need your "not a very good way to run a business" quip.

Unsubscribe from the thread since it annoys you so much.

No, I would have much preferred to have a definite time frame versus another hurry up and wait situation again. Look how everyone on this forum complained about the lag time in getting the cars. I have nothing against Kooks, just the way in which it is conveyed.

What quip? Everyone on this forum, including me, b1tched about Ford not getting the cars out when we thought they should have. I have nothing against Kooks.

Patience is virtuous right? I would rather wait for the right car and the right parts. I've been waiting on George R.R. Martin to release Winds of Winter for 5 years and I have to wait until this fall to buy my GT350(TP or R) and most likely buy GRRM's next book so being patient is paying off in both realms.

You guys get to figure out what will get me to 600FWHP in the mean time.

Odd, I didnt see a single post in here by Kooks yet, nor a promise/timeline when the numbers will be released.

Pretty lofty expectations from a spectator at this point

I am sure they need to get all the pricing figured out with the different options and what not.
You just don't throw numbers out in a press release for HP and not have price and availability ready!
