Knocking sound, check engine light after idling for a bit

Hello, mustangs been acting weird, after driving for a bit makes slight tapping sounds. Then after a little more while that it sits and idles the tapping gets loud and makes knocking type sounds check engine light comes and goes first time started flashing though. Turned car off and back on lights gone, always get a code for p0390 saw ford had a tsb for oil solenoid to replace and that didn’t not fix the issue wondering if anyone had similar issues

I believe this is the same issues. Other people are having with the cam phasers. I’m getting a p0340 code but changed all the cam shaft sensors

When engines make NOISE there is a reason, time to dig a lot deeper. Hope it works out for you Good Luck.
