Have you tried getting in your car, closing the door and locking it then sitting for about 10 minutes and then testing 33? If it works the same as my Explorer everything gets a little power when I unlock and open my door. I wonder if Keyed Power just doesn't exist anymore?
Yeah...I believe that may be true...The FRIGGING fuse box has power on all the fuses!:frusty:

It took me a while with the keyed power phrase. Don't you mean switched power?

No problem. Nice color choice. You get red redline interior?

Thanks...it's a new color for me, all my other cars are white...As for the red, no I went with the Ebony. I want to do Dual Gloss Black Stripes with Silver Metallic Pinstripe on the sides, so the red would have thrown that off a tad...

Finally found a source that turns on & off with Push Button (aka Key)...

1. You need to pull the overhead lights down (grab from windshield side and pull down).
2. You will find a wire that is secure ( use needle nose to work plastic holder out) that runs down to the mirror
3. Disconnect back of connector on mirror
4. Carefully remove plastic holder covering wire to mirror
5. Go close to the plastic holder in overhead light opening
6. Carefully cut cloth tape (be careful its strong and you can cut wire easy)
7. Find Purple and Yellow wire (POSITIVE 12v when turned on)
8. Find Green and black (Negative)
9. Connect Radar wire...I used BUTT Splices, and taped harness back together.

UPDATE: ALSO TURNS OFF IN REVERESE...ARGH...

Good Luck, and I hope this helps...I did not take any photos sorry.

Pulling fuse number 33 or any other one shouldn't do anything....It shouldn't matter...I mean if a fuse blows and you put a new one in, you aren't going to disconnect the batter to replace it....I wouldn't on any other vehicle. Did you get your radio straightened out? I had pulled number 33 and it just reset my radio...nothing messed up.

It shouldn't matter but Sync/MFT can be buggy that way. Happened to me on my Explorer when a fuse blew and I pulled the wrong one. MFT got stuck in a boot loop until I disconnected my battery and let it reset.

I found a closer way to get switched power for your radars. It turns on and off with the starter button. This is a view from outside the car from the front.

Just saw the reverse comment. Same on the mirror. Turns off in reverse. No biggie, unless you can go over the speed limit in reverse
