So I tried to do the mirror tap but it seems my mirror has more squares than in the diagram?

Also, I bought the MT 2009 9" mirror tap, but it seems whenever I put one of the pins in one of the empty squares, its super loose and will fall out?

What exactly am I doing wrong haha

You don't put it in an empty hole, you have to slide it along side the connectors according to the diagram I posted.

Yes, the new Mustangs have 8x2 molex, the extra 2 pins are all the way on the left but they don't affect placement. You don't want to put too much pressure, you just need to find which of the four sides of the wire in there lets you wiggle in the blade connector. Don't force it, but you do need steady pressure to get it to slide in between.

From the mirror you have this on the bottom row:
[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [X] [ ] [X] [X]

Your pins that you need to slide in go like this:

[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [R]

Ohh I get it. How far in do the pins need to go in before I know I can leave it?
