hmmmm. I could see that being a problem.

I guess all you can do is talk to them about it and explain the situation and see what they say. And if they say no, politely insist. Heck, maybe they have it lying around wondering where the extra fob came from.
The other problem is that they lied to me and told me I am supposed to get only one key back when I took delivery

When you bought the car see if you have paperwork showing two fobs. I was given paperwork which I had to sign showing what they were giving me and me signing acknowledge that I did. It showed two fobs and a key, long shot my friends had never seen a dealership do that before.

Well, that gives you a bit more ammo. Tell them you have recently learned that is not the case. Do you have it documented you only received one?

Even the manual says you get two key fobs with the car. Give the dealer (the shyster!) a reading lesson and demand a second fob. If he gives you any grief, get Ford Service involved and explain to them you have a cretin for a dealer. He's delivering two fobs with every car he delivers. He knows the right answer to the question. Don't take any crap.

The individual key if for the glove box. I haven't tested, but apparently it will work in the door as well.

There are also 2 blade keys, one in each fob, these for sure will open the driver door and, I guess, maybe the glove box.

To access the door lock, you need to slide off the plastic piece next to the door handle. The key hole is on the bottom.

These keys will not start the vehicle. If your key fob battery dies, remove the console cup holder liner and the back cup has a spot the fob will fit into. Place fob in and then start car.
The regular looking key, and both blade keys (one located inside each FOB) have the identical cut on them, and they all work in the door and the glove box. I verified this by testing them all.

Did you get the key code tag with the one FOB? If not, I believe the dealership can find the key code for your car with the VIN.

When I bought my GT, one of the FOBs was missing a blade key and the dealership ordered one for me - no charge of course since it was missing.

contact ford service on this forum and see what they can do!

those fobs are expensive as fuck. (you're also fucked if you don't have the code sticker/tag)

^^^ Not sure about the not having the code tag. Possible that Ford has the key & FOB codes for every car based on the VIN.
