Thoughts on getting a new key fob.
* You can get them online and if they look exactly the same they will work. To help your search, the fob has a number on it. Put that in your search.
* If you don't have 2 working fobs you will need to have a locksmith or dealer program the new fob.
* If your fob has an emergency key in it you will need to have that cut too. Most locksmiths are not equipped to cut our keys.
* Try calling a mobile locksmith in your area and just buy from them, it's considerably cheaper than the dealer and much less hassle.
* There are online places that will sell you a fob with a cut key if you give them your VIN. I think it still has to be programed though.
