Yea, like 750whp. lolIt will take a LOT of power to exceed 143 mph in the quarter. If you are comfortable with 7800 RPM shift points, you may not need 7th.
I will look forward to seeing the OPs car run. A 945 WHP GT 500 barely does it.Yea, like 750whp. lol
or less if car if mustang is very light and you're blessed with -1000 or higher DA.
Irrelevant comparison as Shelbys just came put, tuning is still in development, no trans tuning and weights 4200lbs + driverI will look forward to seeing the OPs car run. A 945 WHP GT 500 barely does it.
You just like to argue, don't you? So, smart guy, tell me all about the OPs car. It may well be an all out race car with 900 HP and hopefully he will share his mods and dyno sheets but my point is valid.Irrelevant comparison as Shelbys just came put, tuning is still in development, no trans tuning and weights 4200lbs + driver
Who’s arguing?? I’m not. I simply stated a fact. But if you consider 750 A LOT of power then that’s fine. You just like to argue, don't you? So, smart guy, tell me all about the OPs car. LOL...what I am trying politely to say is that we don't know much about the OPs car other than it is a 2019 401a PP car with a Whipple. He says it makes 900 HP. I have no reason not to believe him. However, I don't know what he has done to the car, if his HP number is a guess or reality. Most of the guys with Whipples and basic tunes run more in the 130 range at my tracks. One of the guys on this forum with a PBD tuned Whipple recently ran around 131 at Atco in very good air. Of course, the OP may have a lot more tweaks than that.Who’s arguing?? I’m not. My buddies Paxton at around 730whp 10r80 went 140 in 95* weather, about 3000 DA on pump gas with Octanium. PBD tuned.
When I was on pump 93 making 700whp, trapped 141. Now making just at 900whp, traps 150. If OP is making 900, 150 trap shouldn't be an issue.LOL...what I am trying politely to say is that we don't know much about the OPs car other than it is a 2019 401a PP car with a Whipple. If I recall from some of your posts, you have run around 140 or so in the quarter. You must be making some pretty decent power yourself!
If for whatever reason he’s lying then yea that’s another story. But 900whp on a 10r80 with a 17” tire is plenty for low 140s and therefore it will be going into its 1:1 which has I hear a lot of people say that the stock 10r80 doesn’t like. So for initial testing is fine, but id start throwing offers for a pumpkin swap.LOL...what I am trying politely to say is that we don't know much about the OPs car other than it is a 2019 401a PP car with a Whipple.
