The front lip spoiler, turn signal, and fog light look very similar to the Q50S. V6 wheels are exactly like a 09 G37. Black wheels look very similar to the M3. Character line looks very similar to the new 4 series. Yes, it does look like a Mustang, but some characteristics have been seen on other models, especially the wheel designs.

Looks like a 2015 mustang to me.
My boss has been restoring 65-70 shelbys as a full-time job for 38 yrs. He helped found the Shelby American Collection Museum in Boulder and is easily in the top 1% for 65-70 mustang knowledge with some pretty serious accomplishments under his belt. He likes the new car and said if he saw it unbadged from close or even decent distance he would immediately recognize it as a mustang.
But noooo… the internet is full of auto design know-it-all's with very little sense of mustang history. I guess they know what a real mustang is more then Ford or the people who have built their careers on the car. If you don't like it, fine… but I'm really getting sick of the invalid criticisms from people I can only imagine must have spent their childhoods frustratingly trying to pound square pegs in round holes.

What do the Q50 and the M4 have to do with the S550? Ford didn't know what they looked like when the '15 Mustang was designed and I hardly see true similarities against the G37.

That is a bunch of poppycock and unsubstantiated, when Infinti has maintained that styling theme since 2008 from their 2009 Essence Concept, and implemented it into the Q50 design 2 1/2 years ago. I don't see anything that was legitimately "copied" from any other company.

I can see the Genesis coupe in the styling, overall, but I, personally, love the euro influence on this new gen. Its both unmistakably a Mustang, and unmistakably modern. I'm diggin' it!

This is annoying, I see everyone comparing the Mustang to other vehicles saying it looks the same.

You can pretty much compare almost any car of the same class and find similarities in the way they look.
